How you can help in Haiti

You can give

100 percent of your gift will be used for meeting needs of earthquake victims in Haiti.
Southern Baptists have an extensive network for disaster response including missionaries already on the scene with language and cultural skills. The IMB partners with Baptist Global Response because it is led by Southern Baptists who have decades of experience in disaster assessment and relief projects. Southern Baptist churches, associations, state conventions and the North American Mission Board also work closely with Baptist Global Response to plan and carry out international disaster relief projects conducted in cooperation with local Baptist churches overseas.

You can pray

You can volunteer

  • E-mail:  E-mail haitiresponse@imb.org. Indicate your name and contact information, what skills you have and when you are available. Southern Baptists interested in donating supplies or offering other assistance also can send an e-mail to this address.

You can mobilize others

  • Videos: Download and show these videos to your church or others who may be able to help:
    • Tim Dortch, Mississippi pastor, delivers supplies to Haiti.
    • Mark Rutledge, long-time missionary to Haitians, speaks out from Port-au-Prince asking you to pray and give to help earthquake victims.
    • Gordon Fort, IMB vice president for global strategy, asks Southern Baptists to pray and help victims in Haiti in other ways.
